On 24 September 2022, Lisa Jordan, Managing Director – Diaverum UK, Dawn Moller, Nursing Director and Lucy Watts, Clinical Lead will be joining Marc Shaw from Kidney Research UK, to take on the famous Three Peaks Challenge and raise vital funds for the organisation.

The Three Peaks Challenge

The 'Three Peaks Challenge' is one of the UK's most famous trekking routes, that sees adventurers scale the three highest mountains in the country within 24 hours.

They are:

  • Ben Nevis (1,345m), the highest mountain in Scotland
  • Scarfell Pike (978m), the highest mountain in England
  • Snowdon (1,085m), the highest mountain in Wales

In total, the team will walk a distance of 37km and climb 3,064m in total. Together with a driving time of over 10 hours, that will see them cover 725km, the Three Peaks Challenge promises to be a formidable experience.

Commenting on her team's participation, Lisa Jordan said: "Today, there are around 3.5 million people living with kidney disease in the UK. With kidney failure on the rise, it has never been more important to support the research that can help find a cure for this".

She added: "The team has been spending time hiking and getting out onto the hills as much as possible! We are so exciting to take this on and look forward to sharing our experiences with you all".

Lisa and her team hope to raise £1,000 for Kidney Research; if you would like to donate, please visit their Just Giving page for further information.

Donations are welcome, no matter how small.
