In light of the recent events surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, we would like to remind all our business partners of our expectations for visitors to our Clinics.
It is important that all contractors closely follow the guidance below when attending a Diaverum clinic:
- Take a Lateral Flow Test before attending site, and have a negative result.
- Do not enter the facility if you have symptoms of Covid 19, have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19, or have been advised to self-isolate.
- Sign in at the Reception desk on arrival.
- You will be asked to have your temperature taken and other details as part of our standard triage practice. If you refuse to be triaged you may be refused access to the clinic.
- You must wear a face mask within our facililty. If a contractor is ‘except’ they should not attend and a replacement should be sent.
- You must only enter areas of the facility which are essential to carry out your duties.
- You must wash your hands upon entering the clinic and after touching each piece of equipment.
- You must wipe down equipment you have touched with the wipes provided.
- You must observe social distancing guidance.
- You must respect all guidelines as advised by the clinic staff.
All of the above actions are required before gaining entry into the main Clinic.
If you sub-contract we would expect that you would share this information with the sub-contractor and they would adhere to these guidelines.
We appreciate this can add a little time to the planned visit, however we are sure you can understand the importance of protecting our venerable Patient base.
