We are thrilled to announce that our Thamesmead Kidney Treatment Centre has been awarded an overall rating of OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
The centre, which is run by Diaverum UK in partnership with King’s University Hospitals NHS Trust, opened in 2018 and currently cares for 120 patients.
The award follows an unannounced inspection made by the CQC earlier in the year. In a testament to the clinic’s dedication to providing life-enhancing renal care, the inspection’s findings commented on its excellent performance across all categories, including staff, who it was noted: “… consistently provided good care and treatment…some patient outcomes were better than the national standard”.
The CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. It is responsible for ensuring that health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.
